What am I buying when I buy an activity voucher?

When you buy a gift experience from Great Days Out, the lucky recipient can receive one of two different types of gift packs.

There are two types of voucher pack to choose from.

Instant gift certificate

Left it to the last minute? Don't panic - our handy evoucher means that you'll never turn up empty-handed again.

Printing your evoucher is free and will take you just a couple of seconds once you have placed your order. The gift certificate is accompanied by all the information the recipient will need, including full details of the chosen activity and booking method. All the recipient then needs to do is contact us when they are ready to book their memorable day.

Gift Pack

The gift pack comes complete with a voucher, full activity details and booking instructions and is presented in a stylish silver wallet. For that extra special touch, the voucher can be personalised with the recipient’s name and a short message.

Delivery details

The evoucher can be printed at the time of order by you and presented straight away to the lucky recipient.

If you choose the gift pack option, it will be sent by standard post on the same day if you order before 11.30am. Orders received after this time will be posted on the next working day. Your gift pack will be sent Monday to Friday and can take 2 to 5 working days to be delivered. The cost of the gift pack and the postage is €5 inclusive.

Voucher validity

Vouchers are usually valid for 12 months and you’ll find the expiry date clearly marked on the voucher or evoucher. If the recipient is unable to take part in the activity within this period, we will be pleased to extend the validity date by an additional 6 months. This must be arranged whilst the voucher is still valid and we will charge a €20 administration fee. If our website price for the chosen activity has increased during this time the recipient will also be required to pay the difference.

When buying a voucher you are buying a face value voucher entitling the holder to choose, up to the value stated on the voucher, one of a range of activities supplied by Great Days Out and provided by selected suppliers.
