Terms and conditions
Please read this page carefully before purchasing your activity gift voucher. This
document sets out the terms on which Days of Your Life Ireland Ltd, trading as Great
Days Out ("we"), issue the purchaser ("you") with the activity gift voucher and
shall be binding on you and/or any subsequent holder of the activity gift voucher
(and references to “you” shall include any such subsequent holder).

Terms and conditions
Great Days Out issues face value vouchers ("Vouchers") entitling the holder to choose
up to the value stated on the Voucher, one of a range of activities provided by
selected suppliers ("Suppliers").
Your participation in any activity shall be governed by the terms and conditions
of the Supplier.

Voucher validity
When you wish to redeem your Voucher please follow the booking instructions within
your gift pack. Please note that all activities are subject to availability and
booking limits. As a result we may not be able to accommodate your booking on your
chosen date or venue.
Unless stated on the Voucher, Vouchers are valid for a period of twelve months from
the purchase date. Please check the season of any intended activity, as this may
be shorter than the Voucher validity. You must book and complete your activity prior
to the expiry date. If you are unable to use your Voucher within the validity period,
the Voucher can be extended for a period of up to six months (excluding promotions).
A €20 administration fee is payable if you choose to extend your Voucher’s validity.
A Voucher can only be extended once and must be done while the voucher is valid.
Extended Vouchers cannot be refunded. Promotional vouchers cannot be extended.
Vouchers can be exchanged for a Voucher for another activity sold on the Great Days
Out website, only once, providing the original voucher is still valid. The new Voucher
will keep the validity of the original voucher. If the activity you choose costs
more than the face value of your original voucher you will need to pay the difference.
Alternatively, if the activity you choose is cheaper then the difference remains
as a credit on your account for the remainder of the validity of the voucher. You
will need to return your original voucher to us in order to proceed with an exchange.
We will not replace lost vouchers. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. Only original
vouchers will be accepted - no photocopies of Vouchers will be accepted. Please
be advised that once a booking has been made, it cannot be cancelled for any reason.
You must take the voucher with you to the activity on the day of the activity in
order to take part.

Age, size and health restrictions
For safety reasons, some activities have certain size, age and health restrictions.
You are required to notify Great Days Out and/or the Supplier at the time of booking
of any relevant medical condition. Failure to notify us or the Supplier of a relevant
medical condition may result in you not being able to take part in that activity.
We will not refund the cost of the Voucher if this is the case. With certain activities
you may be required to sign a disclaimer, produce a medical certificate or complete
a medical questionnaire before taking part in your chosen activity. The booking
centre will be happy to advise you if you require further clarification. For driving
activities our Suppliers require you to have a full valid European Union driving
licence (manual) which must have been held for a minimum of one year, unless otherwise
stated. Our booking centre or Supplier can advise of any restrictions at the time
of purchase and/or booking.

Bookings
In order to enjoy your chosen activity and to arrange a time and place for your
activity, you can choose the particular provider of the activity that you are interested
in, phone us, the provider or book via our website. You may be required to send
your Voucher to the chosen provider to confirm your booking in advance: if so we
recommend you keep a record of your Voucher number and use registered post, as your
Voucher is a valuable document. Customers should also note that your Voucher must
be presented on the day (unless already sent to the activity provider), in order
to participate in the activity. If lost, we regret that Vouchers cannot be replaced.
You may also be required to pay a deposit to the provider to confirm your booking
in advance. This deposit will be credited back upon completion of your activity.
Please note you may not be able to change your mind once a date has been booked
with a Supplier.

Late arrivals
Once you have made your booking you will be advised of the time that you must report
to the Supplier in order to take part in your activity. This can be up to 30 minutes
before the activity start time. Due to the health and safety requirements of the
Supplier, you may be required to take part in a safety briefing, depending on the
nature of your activity. Failure to report at the stipulated time may mean that
you will not be allowed to take part in the activity and will not be entitled to
rebook.

Description and photography
We have tried to ensure that descriptions and illustrations used in the Voucher
packs, in our literature and on our website are accurate. However, such photographs
and descriptions are intended to give a general idea of the activity described and
do not form part of any contract or warranty between you and Great Days Out. These
terms and conditions set out the entire agreement between you and Great Days Out
and supersede all prior agreements and representations (whether written or verbal).

Insurance
Where applicable, the price of the Voucher includes the cost of providing you with
personal accident insurance cover. This insurance cover is not available for activities
that take place abroad. Full details of insurance cover are available on request.

Returns
We are happy to accept returns within 28 days of purchase. Nevertheless returns
and exchanges are not available if you have extended your Voucher, used or booked
your Voucher, if the date of the request is after the Voucher expiry date, or if
the pack is not in a re-saleable condition. No interest will be paid on the amount
to be refunded. You will need to return your original voucher to us in order to
proceed with a refund.

If we cancel or change your activity
If we cancel your activity, we will tell you as soon as possible, and do our best
to offer an alternative date or location. If specific celebrities or vehicles are
featured but are not available on the day for reasons beyond our control, we will
try to find the best possible replacement. If this is not possible, we reserve the
right to cancel your activity at short notice and re-book you. We reserve the right
to reschedule the timings or location of any activity owing to unavailability of
the activity, insufficient numbers making the activity unavailable, and other factors
beyond our control. We reserve the right to discontinue an activity, venue, or individual
Supplier at our own discretion. We will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative
activity of the same value, however, if not we will refund your Voucher in full.
If you decide to book a different activity and the price of that activity exceeds
the face value of your Voucher, you will need to pay the difference. We also reserve
the right to make minor changes to your activity as may be required by our Suppliers.
Examples of minor changes include car specification, or order of activities on a
particular day.

Cancellations
Please note that you may not be able to change your booking once a date has been
booked with a Supplier and you will be bound by their terms and conditions. If you
cancel at short notice you may lose your booking altogether or be liable for a cancellation
fee.
You should contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel your booking.
We will try to fill the allocated space, but if we are unable to do so, you may
lose your booking permanently. You will be advised by Great Days Out if you can
rebook. If you need to cancel your activity because of accidental injury/illness
to yourself, or a death in your immediate family you should contact Great Days Out
as it may be possible to re-arrange your activity on presentation of a medical or
death certificate.

Weather
At times activities can be cancelled due to weather conditions or circumstances
beyond the Supplier’s control. Your booking confirmation letter will advise you
if you need to phone the Supplier to check weather information before participating.
If your activity is cancelled due to the weather you will be able to re-book, but
your re-booked activity remains subject to weather conditions.

Refunds
We are happy to make refunds on unbooked experiences bought direct from Great Days
Out within 28 days of purchase. Refunds cannot be issued once a date has been booked
with the provider. Changing a booked date amounts to a cancellation, so once your
booking has been made you may incur cancellation charges if you have to re-book.
You will need to return your original voucher to us in order to proceed with a refund.

Problems on the day
Once a booking has been made, you are bound by the terms and conditions of the Supplier.
If you have any problems, please speak to the management of the location on the
day so that they have the opportunity to resolve any problems. Otherwise, please
inform us in writing with full details and we will be happy to contact the Supplier
on your behalf.

Your Privacy
We are fully committed to protect any personal information that you provide us with.
The information that we will need in order to fulfill your order is only used by
Great Days Out and the Supplier of your chosen activity. From time to time we publish
a newsletter that is sent to customers and subscribers via email. Customers or subscribers
who do not wish to receive this communication can easily opt out at any time by

Miscellaneous
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, and
are governed by and in accordance with Irish law and any dispute between you and
us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts. All the clauses
and sub-clauses in these terms and conditions are independent of each other. If
one clause or sub-clause is deemed invalid or unenforceable, this will not affect
any other clause or sub-clause, which shall remain valid.
All activities are pursued at your own risk and are subject to the terms and conditions
of the relevant Supplier. Whilst Great Days Out uses reasonable care in the selection
of our Suppliers, we shall not be liable to you for the action, error, fault, omission,
or negligence of our Suppliers.
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance
of, any of our obligations under these terms and conditions that is caused by events
outside our reasonable control.
To the greatest extent permitted by applicable law, Great Days Out’s entire aggregate
liability to compensate you for any loss or damage, howsoever arising (including
as a result of our negligence), shall be limited to the cost of the Voucher.
Nothing in these terms shall operate to exclude our liability for death or personal
injury caused by our negligence or any other matter for which it would be illegal
or unlawful for us to exclude or attempt to exclude our liability.
