This course is designed for beginners to get an in-depth introduction to the exciting sport of kitesurfing.
The premise of kitesurfing is simple: by using a large, powerful kite for propulsion, and standing or sitting on some form of transportation, the kitesurfer is able to reach high speeds and perform amazing and exhilarating stunts. Kite surfing, as a recreational sport, began in the 1980s, but didn't gain popularity until the turn of the millennium. Before 2000 there were less than a thousand kite surfers worldwide. In 2005 that number had swelled to nearly 100,000. What better time is there to add to that number?
This course can be done within four half days (during the week) or if the conditions are good, within two full intense days (or weekend). The twelve hours are effective hours so always consider more time on the beach and preparation. During all these hours you'll be brought from the basics of small kite control to the preparation of waterstarting and first rides on the board. All along the course, safety notions will be taught and discussed. There is a maximum of two pairs of students with one instructor. This is the best ratio improved and quicker learning.
