Description

Harness the power of the wind as you take to the sea. Kite surfing, as a recreational sport, began in the 1980s, but didn't gain popularity until the turn of the millennium. Before 2000 there were less than a thousand kite surfers worldwide. In 2005 that number had swelled to nearly 100,000. What better time is there to add to that number? This lesson can be taken from complete beginner for the first thrills on the water and also to advanced riders to improve their trick repertory!

Upon arrival at the venue you will receive a detailed verbal introduction to this sport by a fully trained instructor qualified to national standards. You will then be taken out on a number of different circuits to experience marine kites, all the water launching and powering up techniques, culminating in a long distance body surf across the harbour of around two miles!
Please note this experience does not include wetsuit hire, however wetsuits can be hired from the location for the course.
