Description
If Ellen MacArthur has inspired you to learn how to crew a yacht, then look no further. The aim of this course is to introduce you to cruising and to teach personal safety, seamanship and helmsmanship to the level required to be a competent crew member on a cruising yacht. This course is live aboard for four nights, includes all meals, and is run with three or four students to one instructor. This ratio ensures individual tuition and comfortable living onboard.
The course content comprises of: sail handling, helmsmanship, sail changes and reefing, rope work and safety. After successful completion of this course the participant will possess the ability and knowledge to confidently crew a yacht. They will also receive an I.S.A. certificate.

How long does this activity last?
This is a five day course.
You need to know
The minimum age is 18 years.
Participants need to be in reasonable health and have at least basic swimming skills.
There are no qualifications required.
