Satyananda yoga is a more traditional form of yoga and includes breathwork and working with one's awareness right rather than on focusing on one's physical capabilities. This course is quite gentle and includes: breath work, gentle postures, salutation to the sun and Yoga Nidra deep relaxation and meditation. The goal of the course is to introduce you to Satyananda yoga so that you may practice at home after the course. You may also like to come along to deepen your yoga practice and learn to tune inwards more deeply or simply to enjoy a more gentle and relaxing workshop than Ashtanga. As part of the weekend there is an outdoor trip into the Burren on Saturday.
The course includes accommodation and vegetarian meals. Accommodation at the centre is in single sex dormitory rooms sharing for 4 or 6 people, however a single room can be arranged, please check on booking.

The centre is very comfortable with underfloor heating throughout and is located 5 miles from the picturesque seaside village of Kinvara and a 50 minute drive from Shannon airport.
