Follow in the footsteps of Colin McRae and Richard Burns and discover the secrets of skid cause and control, power-slides, and the art of handbrake turns on special loose surface rally 'stages'. This is not an easy drive, there are a total of 40 hairpins you need to tackle so you will be very busy behind the wheel!

Once you arrive at the venue, you will register with the rally school, get kitted out with a suit and helmet and then be given a safety briefing. First is the Level One course. At first your instructor will drive a few slow laps, with each getting quicker, showing you all the racing lines. Your instructor will invite questions to ensure that you understand all instructions. Now it's your turn to drive 16 laps in a clockwise direction picking up the pace as you go. When you have reached an acceptable level of ability you will be taught how to handbrake properly and drift through the hairpins. There are a total of 80 hairpins in this direction so you will be very busy behind the wheel. After 16 laps you will stop for a break and your progress will be discussed. Next you will drive in the opposite direction for 16 laps increasing the pace on every lap. This time you will need to concentrate more to control the car at higher speeds and develop quicker responses to instruction. This is where you get the real feel of control when you are power sliding these rally cars on loose gravel corners. After the 16 laps you will need a break and your progress is again discussed. Next on to Level 2 which is a much more difficult stage with blind corners and tight hairpins. Your instructor will navigate you through the stage for 4 laps giving advice and encouragement as you go after which you will return to Level 1 for 1 competitive timed lap where you can demonstrate what you have learned during the course. Your instructor will present you with your completed assessment sheet and again discuss your progress.
