Like you, we value our personal privacy and don’t want to be bombarded with spam
and junk mail about news and products we’re simply not interested in.
That’s why Great Days Out operates a strict privacy policy which enables our customers
to opt-in to receiving information from us and to select the way they receive this
information – whether it be by email, SMS, post or phone.
When completing any forms on our websites, you consent to the collection and use
of your information by the Great Days Out and its associated brands, under the terms
of this privacy policy. Our privacy policy operates in accordance with the Data
Protection Act 1988 and any future changes to our privacy policy will appear on
this page.
What information do we collect and how do we use it?
In order to process and fulfil your purchase or voucher redemption we need to know:
your name, address, contact telephone number, email address and the recipient’s
name. In some cases we also need to collect your age, weight, height and other data
to ensure compliance with the experience you are booking.
This information may be shared with our suppliers in order to confirm your purchase
or redemption and for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with you.
If you have agreed to receive promotional material from us then this information
will not be transferred to third parties.
How do we protect customer information?
When you make a purchase online, we use a secure server. The secure server software
(SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, as
required by the Data Protection Legislation, we follow strict security procedures
in the storage and disclosure of information, which you have given us.
Use of cookies
'Cookies' are small pieces of information sent by a web server’s web browser thus
enabling the server to collect information from the browser. We use cookies by default
to track repeat visitors to our site. No personal information or information that
could be used to identify individuals is held in these cookies. If you have a no
cookie policy then we work without cookies. In non cookie mode we use a combination
of a visitor's IP address and browser information to identify future visits.
Disclosing information to THIRD parties?
We do not sell trade or rent your personal information to companies other than those
owned by Great Days Out.
Competitions
Occasionally we may contact you with the opportunity to enter competitions. Competition
entry is voluntary, and you are under no obligation to take up an invitation to
enter. If you choose to enter a competition, we will treat the information you provide
with the same high standard of care as all other customer information, and use the
information provided strictly within the entry terms of the competition and this
Privacy Statement.
Email to a Friend
From time to time we may operate an 'Email a friend' service. This is a referral
service, designed to make it easy for customers to recommend our site and related
websites or offers to a friend. When we contact the friend, we always advise them
of the name and email address of the friend who made the original referral. We will
not use your friend’s details for any other purpose unless they themselves opt-in
to receive communications from us.
Personal Data
To ensure we provide you with the best possible service it is important we keep
the data we hold on you up-to-date. You may change any of the basic information
we keep about you at any time by sending us an email to

If you wish to take up your right to see the personal data we hold on you please
put your request in writing to the Privacy Officer at the address below. You should
include a reply address with your request, together with a cheque to the value of
€10 payable to Great Days Out.
